Made It Monday {April}

Thanks to Spring Break I am able to link up to 4th Grade Frolics April Made It Monday!  I got tired of pinning items on pinterest and NEVER doing them, so I chose 5 projects I wanted to make this month. I have hopes of doing all 5 this month, we will see how it goes, but I did make two items recently...Yay!  I also completed several other projects.

1. AR Wait List.  I used ribbon, hot glue, clothes pins, and created signs for this project.  This has helped a ton in my classroom and I only wish I would of made it sooner!

 2. Gifts.  I created Farley's Easter in a Jar idea for my Co-teacher, Classroom Tutor, and parents.  I wanted to thank my Co-teacher and Tutor for holding down the fort while I was on bed rest for almost two weeks.  On the lids I wrote, "Thanks for being some BUNNY I can count on".  Everyone LOVED their gifts!

3. Door Decor.  I have a ton of burlap left over from a Christmas table  I decorated, and decided to turn it into something cute :)  This project is one of my 5 pinterest to do items for April. I normally stuff my burlap door decor with plastic bags from shopping but we were out, so I improvised and used an old newspaper.

4. Garden Flag. This was another one of my Pinterest to do items.  I combined three of pins to create my garden flag.  Again, I used some left over burlap and bought the green burlap ribbon from Walmart.  It took some time to measure out the chevron pattern but LOVE the result.  My house is yellow with green shutters, which is why I chose these colors.

I can't wait for summer where I can create even more fun projects, only 8 more weeks!!!

  5. Thanks for stopping by my blog! You're a no-reply blogger, so I'm here to let to know that and promise to let you know if your posts ever have lots of errors as long as you'll do the same for me! ;)

    I read this post earlier and LOVE your door decoration and your garden flag. I wish I was brave enough to decorate my door or garden area. It's just so windy here, that I'm worried my hard work would blow away.

  6. Cute!!! You've been busy--sounds like a great goal for your Pinterest to-make list! I may have to try that. Hoping I'll have more time this summer! :)
