Did you notice my absence lately? I took an impromptu blogger vacation :) We have spent time with family and traveling the past week, so there wasn't much time for blogging. Honestly, it was a nice little break :) What a great way to come back from a vaca...FIVE FOR FRIDAY!

2. Cousins.
My parents were blessed to have all six grandkids, ages 6-8mo, together for the first time. It has been almost three years since they have been together. We took them ALL to Sea World in Orlando and survived! The above picture was the following day and they were waiting to go to the M&M store.
4. Joanne and I brought each other some fun back to school gifts! I LOVE all of my post-it-notes! I can't wait to use them all! Although, I am not sure I want to share some of them with my students, they are just too cool! :)
5. FREEBIE! Many of you were impressed that I have the first nine weeks planned when I posted my Back to School Goals. I should remind you that I only plan ELA this year :) We are starting with Biographies and I created this chart for my students to use, and I am sharing it with you to help you get motivated :)
Hey lady! I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation. Perfect timing to get refreshed right before school starts. Thanks for the freebie!

Good for you for having the first nine weeks planned! WOW! Even just having ELA, that's still quite the accomplishment :) And those POst-It note pads- I NEED those!? Where in the world did she find those pads of awesomeness!? How neat! You were in my neck of the woods over in Orlando! I live just a few hours from there! :)

Looks like you had a great trip to Florida! Glad you could meet up with Joanne. She is the queen of Post-its, isn't she? (Don't know where she finds those big ones...)
