Bed Rest

I have been MIA a few days due to being put on bed rest.  Saturday morning I was sitting on the couch and the baby slipped, I went to catch him and felt a shooting pain in my back and ended up on the floor crying with him.  We sat there for a few minutes until my hubby came into the house to help us up.  I went to the ER later that day because I couldn't move.  Getting in and out of my hubby's truck was the most PAINFUL thing ever!  I have given birth three times with no drugs and told my hubby I would rather go through labor than the pain I was in.  I ended up spraining my lower back and was given a shot of Valium, a Narcotic, and an anti-inflammatory=HEAVEN.  I was feeling great 15 minutes after my shots! :)

I am out of work for three days, possibly more depending on how I heal.  My poor hubby is already stressed out handling the work load for both of us, poor guy.  Thankfully my sitter will be here tomorrow and friends have offered to make dinner a few nights this week.  My wonderful best friend Wendy, from One Happy Teacher, watched the three boys while I was at the ER until 2 am.  Being military our family is far away but I am very grateful for our friends who are our family.
