About Me

I am a Christian, Army wife, mother to three active boys, and a new Instructional Coach.  I finished my 10th year of teaching at the end of the 2013-2014 school year.  I've taught grades 2-4, during those years I have looped, taught the EC inclusion class, and taught the EC & Gifted inclusion class.

My family and I live in North Carolina were we love to spend time at the beach and at the mountains.  I am a "military brat" and originally from North Dakota, Greece, Washington, Minnesota, and New York.  (I claim to be from Western New York because that's were I lived the longest.)

I hope you enjoy the ideas I share on I {Heart} Recess and get to know me better.  Please leave comments so I can get to know you better!

  4. Jessica -I just found your blog and downloaded the Common core file folder labels. I assume you also teach in Cumberland County as I do. The labels are perfect as I am moving schools and grade levels. Can you tell me how to get the button on your sidebar that says North Carolina blogger? I am new to this blogging and haven't figured out much yet!
